Long grass- Fire hazard

Reported via mobile in the Grass cutting category anonymously at 11:43, Wed 20 July 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

During extreme heat I find it unacceptable that the top field where the overflow carpark is located at Oldbury Court Estate is not mown. I understand the importance of encouraging wildlife but I also feel that it is a real fire hazard thus potentially jeopardising wildlife. The field is used for bbq's in the summer and unfortunately these have not always been disposed of appropriately. I have complained about this issue before as a once beautiful field is now a complete eye sore! I now, however feel that it is beyond an eyesore and now also a real fire hazard as our summer's become increasingly hotter and the risk of fires greater.
