Pavements on Hengrove way

Reported via desktop in the Tree touching building category anonymously at 13:50, Wed 20 July 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3690701.

The pavement on either side of Hengrove way heading towards the Imperial retail park are atrocious. The pavements are incredibly uneven and the brambles are over hanging the pavement. I have been staying at the premier in at Hengrove for the last six months and feel that pedestrians are the last people to be considered by the council. As a wheelchair user it feels very much as though I take my life in my hands every time I go down to the retail park. I have been scratched in the face and have had many a very sharp bramble tear at my clothes. The roots of the surrounding shrubbery have continually raised the pavement and it is a very precarious journey to make. Please please make it safe.
