On pavement parking, disrupting the use of the pavement

Reported via desktop in the Car parking category anonymously at 10:27, Wed 27 July 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

All through Easton, there are issues with on pavement car parking. I honestly believe that there are too many cars for the streets. Surely the easiest solution would be to implement a resident parking permit system. Numerous car owners park in Easton and travel from here into the City Centre, where parking is more tightly controlled. Parking restrictions (on pavements and double yellow lines) are rarely enforced within this area. I would encourage the Council to use wardens more actively in this area and fine people more often for parking infringements.
