Bedminster Road. It’s a drain hole cover that’s now so sunken in the road it’s creating a huge pot hole style dip when turning left into Malago Drive when coming from St Johns Lane

Reported via mobile in the Roads category by Kate Laver at 12:06, Sat 30 July 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3718075.

On Bedminster Road going from St Johns Lane to Parson St School, there’s a 1/2 metre large pothole style dip in the road just where you would turn left into Malago Drive. It’s been noticeably bad for about 11 months.

It’s a manhole or drain cover that’s become extremely sunken. It jolts cars badly when you go over it. As the road is so busy you can’t always safely go around it, and a lot of times I see cars making dangerous swerves into oncoming traffic to avoid the risk of damaging their cars. To turn left into Malago Drive you can’t avoid it sadly and it’s become a hazard.

Please can this be assessed and resolved?
