Voi scooters block cycle rack access

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 13:52, Tue 2 August 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3724876.

The cycle stands at bottom end of Alma Rd are frequently blocked from the pavement side by Voi scooters often lined up like infantry, presumably by the operator. There are in excess of 30 scooters there on many occasions. Complaints to Voi or WECA go unanswered. Cycle stands should be accessible from the pavement and not just from the back. Moreover ranks of scooters can easily topple like dominoes with a single light accidental knock. Please review the scooter capacity here and engage with Voi to respond on the issue and ensure cyclists have a clear path to access the bike stand from the pavement.
