Alot of vehicle speeding on a street with lots of children

Reported via desktop in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 16:21, Fri 5 August 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Stoneleigh Road is a long, straight road on a slight hill. Even though it is 20mph most cars speed down the road, and many of them excessively.

This road has a lot of children living on it and is also a main thoroughfare for school children attending Knowle Park Primary.

With so many children using this road on a daily basis, this growing speeding issue needs addressing right now.

I'm not sure of the best suggestion, whether it be a chicane, speed bumps etc, but please, this really needs addressing.

Many thanks.
