No end of road markings and obscured Stop sign
Reported via desktop in the Road signage category anonymously at 14:37, Wed 10 August 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3744683.
I've seen 2 cars recently (5th Aug 22) carry straight across Nevil Rd at the end of Kennington without stopping or slowing down. There are no end of road markings on Kennington Ave and the stop sign is partially obscured by trees. This is an extension of the hopeless and shoddy job that's been made of resurfacing Kennington Avenue.

Hello This happened again yesterday. I was unaware of the original post. This is going to be very dangerous when the local schools reopen in a few weeks time. The lines need painting and the STOP sign revealing asap.

Just witnessed a council van go sailing across Nevil Rd from Kennington Ave into Salthrop Rd (Thurs 1 st Sept, 12.20pm). Please get this sorted before someone dies

This remains a significant issue, both in terms of drivers not stopping and parking obscuring the junction and visibility. There are no lines on Kennington Avenue at all (both ends) It has been like this all summer and needs to be fixed.

This still needs to be resolved. I saw a collision between a taxi and a campervan this afternoon. The taxi crossed the junction between Kennington Avenue and Nevil Road without stopping because there are currently no road markings.

This is still a major issue. There are cricket matches, major community events and a local school making the lack of road markings for the stop sign and lack of double yellow lines incredibly dangerous. It is both ends of Kennington Avenue and needs resolving as a matter of urgency.
