Dying tree

Reported via mobile in the Tree in poor health category anonymously at 17:07, Fri 12 August 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3750248.

A tree in Antona court is dying, to my knowledge I think it’s a sycamore tree, it started at the bottom corner of the tree and now spread to half the tree. All the leaves have died and the smaller branches at the Bottom are breaking off where they have died. It will eventually spread to the rest of the tree, which the canopy is quite big, which may result in bigger branches snapping off, which could be a safety hazard. The tree does hang over two gardens, one more than the other, which may cause issues if it’s left to die. The tree itself is sandwiched between the boundary wall of the gardens and the main Antona court building itself. It looks like it needs to be chopped down.
