Wall appears to be subsiding due to tree growth on bank of Bristol to bath cycle path, potentially causing a significant risk to pedestrians if the wall collapses
Reported via mobile in the Tree touching building category anonymously at 09:58, Tue 23 August 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3774328.
The wall belongs to ourselves however we’ve been advised it is not covered by our home insurance. We’re concerned that large cracks have appeared and that it may become unstable, causing a risk to pedestrians. The cracks and subsidence appear to be caused by growth of trees and foliage on the side of the cycle path. The railway bridge may also be affected by this. We would like the council to look into safely removing the tree growth.
