Hedges blocking public footpath

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category anonymously at 11:18, Tue 6 September 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3806287.

Hedges have been growing more over the years impacting access. This often inhibits the elderly and disabled who live on Edwars Road and Chatsworth Road. The house owners are allowing hedges to block more and more. They need to be requested to trim all hedges back to the boundary of their property.

  • Please note that nothing is also being done about the rubbish bins being left on the footpath 24/7. This has been reported by myself at same time as this... 6 weeks ago...and Nothing done.... even tho there is an apparent 24 hr response.

  • In all seriousness, I would like to understand why it takes nearly 2 months to tell owners to stop obstructing public footpaths? If they parked in the road without a permit they'd soon get a fine.
