Unofficial 'No Through Road' signage

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
A seemingly unofficial ‘No Through Road’ sign was affixed to the wall adjacent to Hampton Lane (at the junction with Aberdeen Road) over the weekend of 03-04/09/2022, seemingly to deter traffic from using Hampton Lane.
Whilst displaced traffic arising from the restrictions imposed on nearby streets may well be a significant issue for residents (directing traffic down Hampton Lane is clearly impractical), I’m not sure that erecting signage in an attempt to further shift the problems onto other streets is really the answer.
