Surface water on the road.

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 12:10, Friday 9 September 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

After rain, surface water accumulates on the road outide 12 Hotwell Road, presumably because the drain is not working efficiently. This is the drain that has been blocked in the past, e.g., a couple of years ago. A large puddle forms on the road next to the pavement which is then splashed by traffic against the building (Mardyke House) and on people passing by.

  • Two street lights on Harbourside are broken. This leaves a wide dark area outside Brandon Yard vulnerable, especially for elderly residents returning home at night . One light is outside Engine House (BS1 5EL and the other is outside Oculus House (BS1 5DN). The whole area is accessible from Gas Ferry Lane and is just above Brunel Quay. On the north side of the harbour opposite SS Great Britain cafe.
