"Retaining wall near to collapse" - onto Pavement and road

Reported via desktop in the Walls category anonymously at 09:00, Monday 12 September 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

There is a patch of land in between 70 Princess Victoria Street and 78 Princess Victoria Street that is unclaimed.

There is a beautiful tree behind the retaining wall. However, the tree has not been looked after and has grown considerably and I assume it's root system is pushing out the block work retaining wall.

If this wall collapsed as people were walking buy someone could be seriously hurt or worse.

If this wall collapsed onto a parked car, it would cause considerable damage.

I suggest the tree is trimmed well back and that the wall is replaced.
