Disabled access around ashton gate stadium unsuitable

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 10:41, Tuesday 20 September 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

I am writing to complain about the unsafe condition of the footpaths in Ashton Gate area of Bristol. On 14 September 22 I accompanied my disabled sister to the Eng v Wal ladies rugby match at Ashton Gate. At the end of the game we were making our way back to our car passing the Rising Sun pub. The footpath is very uneven, there are pot holes, tree roots, high kerbs raised drain covers. My sisters wheel chair was damaged due to the very poor conditions of the footpaths. One of the front wheels has collapsed . This occurred around 22;00 hrs after we left the stadium. This ruined a very good evening for us, if not for the help of some good Samaritans from Bournemouth also attending the game , we would not have got back to our vehicle. I ask that you look into this and reply accordingly.
