This sign and the work being carried out is on private property. No one from the council has asked for permission by the homeowners at 39 Brook Road.

Reported via mobile in the Damaged category anonymously at 17:11, Sun 25 September 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3847791.

I realised this only today, Sunday 25th September 2022, when I went to weed my garden. This street sign and the work being carried out is on private property and no one has asked permission from the homeowners at 39 Brook Road, to carry out any work on our property. Additionally, flowers and plants planted by the homeowners have been removed and taken away, again without permission and with much distress to the homeowners. New plants have now been planted.

The street sign has therefore, been removed and sits adjacent to the house of 39 Brook Road, for your collection. The council can put the sign in the footpath like the street sign across the road at 37 Brook Road and not on private property, without at the very least, consulting us.

We look forward to your reply.

Thank you

Kind Regards

Amanda Hannaway
