Grit and tarmac left immediately outside our house.

While we were away on holida; 26th to 30th Sept, workmen came to Tarmac the pavement on the north side of Fallodon Way. They did not tarmac the stretch outside our house No 41 but left a significant quantity of grit on the pavement and gutter and a heap of tarmac and grey tape just at the point we leave the pavement to enter our house. It is difficult to avoid treading this into trhe house. Surely it is the responsibilty of the contractor to complete the job by cleaning up properly.
