Not attempted. Drains along path completely blocked along entire length. Rotting leaves are slippery. Floods when rains so entire path is submerged at Queen’s Rd end. saplings & perennials at least 2 years old; possibly older from size. This is a major tourist route through Clifton. Please sort!

All drains are blocked. I have raked guttering for you & removed perennial weeds & saplings from the walls. Drainage needs proper work. This is a major tourist/resident route & hasn’t been addressed for years.

I pruned growth down one side & removed perennial weeds (some). Drains are completely blocked with years of compacted leaf compost. Gutters are full of leaves. This is a main student, resident, tourist route from Queens Rd into Clifton Village & should be given regular attention. It looks shabby, regularly floods. Needs to be on street cleaning schedule. Not reliant on public complaints.

I pruned the perennial shrubs growing out the walls & removed annual weeds. However these still haven’t been permanently dealt with & the route isn’t on a regular street cleaning rota. The drains ar still silted up, resulting in flooding across this busy pedestrian route which links the top of Queens Rd to Boyce’s Ave. it’s a major tourist route & looks bad. Especially when people are sprayed with filthy water from the wobbly paving at the village end. Considering the effort being made to keep Clifton Village looking nice, it wouldn’t take much to resolve this.

Nope. Gutters full. Drains block. Flooded today 15 July. Just needs to be on regular sweeping rota. What’s the problem?

Not touched or swept. Growth in wall now over 5ft high in places. Continued degradation of walls due to root intrusion. Drains silted up & blocked.

First image shows growth intrusion, large puddle caused by heavy, rotting leaf build-up. Same along length. It’s embarrassing, unpleasant & potentially dangerous as it’s very slippery. This could be solved by your pavement vacuum cleaners & 30 minutes of pruning. This is a major tourist route from Queen’s Rd to Clifton Village shops & the Suspension Bridge. It’s ludicrous that members of the Public should be having to try & get this sorted EVERY year.

See recent photos. No attempt to remove excessive growth. Path not swept. Gillies full of rotting leaves. Pavement floods. It’s embarrassing that this major tourist route is in this state & no one is taking responsibility for it.

Worse than ever. You’d think the Council wouldn’t want tourists seeing this in a daily basis , but despite moths of asking & having to do this EVERY year; it doesn’t appear to be anyone’s priority. Despite it being unsightly- it’s dangerous. The longer the trees & weeds are left - the more structural damage is done.

Not fixed. Worse. It’s embarrassing. This is a major tourist & pedestrian route to Clifton. Would add more images. Needs proper renovation of drains which I know you don’t have the funds for, but you do have street vacuums that could at least keep the leaf mess under control.

Fixed but it took nearly 2 years to get this to happen. Please put this on a regular maintenance schedule & the drains that are still completely blocked as a repair/replacement.
State changed to: Fixed
