Gully outside 243 ridgeway road flooding properties

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 16:05, Wed 16 November 2022

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3969521.

When there is rainfall the gully between houses 241-249 on ridgeway road floods and doesn't drain any of the rainfall. Citizens have called wessex water who have investigated the drain and have discovered that the pipes are too narrow to take the capacity of rainfall therefore it is unable to drain which subsequently causes flooding in the surrounding area. Wessex water have looked into this and believe that the gully belongs to us so have advised citizen to call us with this matter. They will provide reporting citizen with a full report on the gully within the next 10 working days.
