  • This street light has still not been repaired and the street remains very dark once the Green Man pub turns off its sign light.

  • So it’s now 3 weeks later since the original report and nothing has been done yet. What is the schedule for sorting non-functioning street lights? Certainly no sense of urgency.

  • Still no evidence that this is going to be sorted any time soon. That part of the street remains very dark for what is a busy pedestrian route at night.

  • Just like every other non-functioning street light that I have reported in the past couple of months, this has not been sorted/repaired. Raising a job with the contractors seems to be a cop out for claiming to have done something but not actually sorting the problem.

  • Just like all of the other lights that I have reported as not working, this one hasn’t been fixed yet. That’s despite Bristol City Council replying that they had contacted their contractor. In fact, just like other work that hasn’t been done but reported as fixed, I have no hope that this will be sorted in the next 6 months let alone by next month.

  • Still not fixed. Remains very dark on a busy rat run junction. Unclear if it will ever get fixed because after 4 months it’s clearly not considered important enough to do anything about it in a reasonable timeframe.

  • Bristol City Council seem to have decided that non-lit street lights are not important and are therefore not fixing them. Not one of the many I have reported recently has been fixed, yet on each one the enquiry is closed without anything being done. I appreciate that the council is cash-strapped but this is a public safety issue and yet it is just being ignored. If the council doesn’t have the money to fix them, they should just come clean and say so.
