Dangerous undermined path.

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 days, 20 hours, 12 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 3996948.
The wall issue on Druid Hill has been going on since Feb'22, however, due to the recent weather, the path (top path) has been undermined significantly. The section to the right is also starting to move. The public is still using this top path, saw young children walking along it only this morning. Whilst I am aware the matter of repairing the retaining wall is down to the home owner, the council have an enforcement obligation and an obligation to protect the public. Intervention is clearly now required. This is simply dangerous to the public.

Is BCC ever going to enforce a resolution to this problem. This has been going on since Feb 2022. The path is once again undermined and dangerous. The owner did have some underpinning works undertaken but then no further works for several weeks. Now the path is once again at risk and the pavement below remains blocked & closed. The sedimentary rock below the underpinning has now failed (refer picture). Not only is the path undermined there is now the risk of the mass reinforced concrete underpinning foundations (significant weight) collapsing onto the road. Is BCC waiting until someone is seriously injured or worse until they force the owner to fix the root cause and rebuild the retaining wall. This needs to be resolved before something really serious occurs and a member of the public is hurt.

The underpinning works to the upper footpath have slipped down the hill, within the last day, possibly due to rain fall. Please can the council check this out, to ensure that it is safe for both the upper path and also for any vehicles using the road below. If the concrete hits the road untold damage could occur. Surely this is dangerous?
