Light is obscured by tree
Reported via desktop in the Street light category anonymously at 11:36, Thu 22 December 2022
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4052381.
A tree is preventing ANY light being emitted down towards Cairns Road. It is pitch black as you turn the corner, right, in to Cairns Road. There is a set back entrance to a lane just there which a potential hiding place kept in pitch black.

Good evening,
We have reported a street light out several times.now, and it's still out after two months.
This has caused us stress as our car did get broken into.

Not yet resolved. And, to add to the problem, there is a growing random tree just aside from the lane gate on the pavement edge. A further potential nightmare.

This is still an issue, some eight months after reporting. No action, it appears.

One year and one month later, this problem has not been addressed . In fact is is worse as the tree has grown, obscuring the light further. There is no light given out to the Cairns Road side of the light, it is utterly pitch black. There are no other nearby street lights to give any light. It is awful. And also, a sapling growing to the side, in just scrub, is getting larger. This will eventually become an additional real problem.

The tree obviously continues to grow and expand. There is no light or the lateral aspect, in to Cairns Road, the area is completely I the pitch black dark. There is also a sapling now growing up on the Cairns Road side, in scrub. This will cause additional issues.
