Persistent illegal parking on double yellow lines and pavement areas

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 12:39, Wednesday 4 January 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4085405.

There are cars persistently illegally parked for the whole day on double yellow lines. Also there are cars persistently parked all day on the pavements on both sides of Canons Way and Cathedral Walk. There is no parking permitted on most streets in the area - this pavement parking is clearly an attempt to get round this. I believe some of the vehicles are of a commercial nature or owned by people working nearby. Please see problem 3856302 reported last month of the same issue. Please can this be addressed - its is a nuisance and obstruction of the pavement and gross abuse of the amenity area.
