I reported the failure of this Street Light 4 weeks ago. It's location is 2 Oakwood Road, BS9 4NR, which is close to Henleaze Park Drive. The last 4 weeks are the darkest period of the Year and with heavy rain throughout this period. walking in the dark is a great risk particularly when ourselves and many neighbours are of the older generation. We live in 4 Oakwood Road and our house is 75metres from Henleaze Park Drive, which is the route we have to take to access the Henleaze Road for shopping and using the Buses. Please could you advise me when the problem with the Steet Light will be corrected. Derek Farley

I provided a further update on the on the 19th January 2023. The Street Light had come on but only for one night. This indicated the the problem could be a fault with the 'Control Unit' not the light. I sent a further message on 9th February 2023 stating that I had reported this problem on 19th December 2022 and recieved a message on 21st December 2022 that said An order had been placed with a Contrator to coorect the problem within 20 Working Days. It is now Seven Weeks since the problem was first raised and the Street is still not working. Please let me know the date when it will be resolved. Derek Farley 4 Oakwood Road BS9 4NR
