Large road sign blocking pavement

Reported via mobile in the Road signage category anonymously at 06:27, Fri 20 January 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4151501.

The support pole for a large road sign blocks a narrow and dangerous stretch of pavement. The road sign is redundant and needs removing. The support pole is placed in the middle of the pavement which means it is very difficult to get past with a pram, mobility aids or anything else. It’s also a particularly dangerous stretch of road where pedestrians are very vulnerable to the (often speeding) traffic. Sign needs removing.
