Very large pothole just before Bristol Zoo- heading towards the Portway.

Reported via mobile in the Roads category by Michelle Beet at 05:59, Friday 10 February 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4159574.

Last Sunday evening, I drove from Westbury on Trym into Clifton Village. During my journey, my car went over a very large pot hole. There was a loud bang, and I had a warning sign on my car dashboard stating there was a problem with a tyre. I pulled over, and my front/passenger tyre was completely flat. The car wasn’t drivable. I managed to be recovered by the AA. But, a new tyre was needed. It cost me £116, as well as not being able to drive my car for over 24 hours. I returned 2 days later to take a photo of the pothole, only to discover that it’s been repaired. Whilst that is great news, it has meant that I have no proof. Other than the AA reference, and the bill for the tyre. It was a scary and dangerous experience. I was in the car with my teenage daughter at the time.
