Drivers speeding up and down road

Reported via desktop in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 21:43, Wednesday 1 February 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Newbridge road is a residential road marked as 20 but because it’s on a hill drivers speed down it. Some times so fast the windows shake. Speed bumps or a enforcement camera would greatly reduce the speed people are driving down it for the safety of children and residents.

  • I would like to add similarly Wick Road along the straight at the Wick House proximity , vehicles mostly usually exceed 20mph , More so when there is a clear run without parked vehicles. Children and young adults use this as a route to schools. Also without pedestrianise safe spaces can generally makes it problematic to cross .
