Deep Ruts in Tarmac

Reported via desktop in the Roads category anonymously at 15:35, Friday 3 February 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Between there are deep ruts between the red/black tarmac sections which make it a very awkward lumpy and uneven section to cross, even worse if you have a bag on wheels as it jumps and jars as you are crossing. if they could be filled in that would be great.

  • When my bag is heavy I have to wheel it (it has an extendable handle). My small wheels jar in one of the ruts, become unstable, hit the second rut and my then flips over in the middle of the road (!) I am then left trying to right it whilst not trying to get run over! please fill them in. If you remove all of the muck and gravel you will see that they are at least an inch deep and one is much wider which my wheels sink into. please help.
