Ivy damaging historic wall

Reported via mobile in the Walls category anonymously at 12:55, Sunday 5 February 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4204925.

Ivy rooted in the gardens of 1 to 11 Myrtle Road has severely damaged a historic wall that was part of the old Bellfield estate. I believe the wall is council property. The Myrtle Road houses are all HMOs. Their owners need to be served with enforcement notices to remove the ivy and make good the wall. We have removed much of the ivy on the public side of the wall so the extent of the problem is not readily apparent but there is ivy growing through the wall and under the coping stones.
