Fairly big pothole caused damaged to my car on severn rd bs11

Reported via mobile in the Roads category anonymously at 19:06, Fri 24 February 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4261702.

Good afternoon, I’d like to make your aware of a number of potholes that are impeding traffic and also causing undue wear and tear on vehicles. Today on 24.02.2023 at approx 16:30 pm while driving on Severn road I hit a pothole at the speed limit which popped my front passanger side tire ( any damage to the wheel yet to be determined ). This pose a physical threat to drivers and pedestrians. As you know, state law permits drivers to seek reimbursement for losses due to road hazards and defects that are a result of negligence. Several potholes are located on Severn road BS11. I know that your can’t get to every pothole right away, but these have been growing for many months. I can attach more photos to illustrate the problem. Sincerely,
