Street light is not working.

This street light is not working and it is on a very dangerous part of the road for 'near misses' as cars are often parked on the double yellow lines and pavements at the junction of Strathmore Road and Downend Road at night, causing cars exiting Strathmore road to 'push out' into Downend Road and cause accidents.

It`s now 21/03/2023. The streetlight is still NOT working . TWO WEEKS LATER !!! The road is very dark and a hazard for anyone walking alone .

Now 25th March and still not fixed. Cars parked on double yellow lines and pavements next to it, making the darkness even more dangerous!!

It seems that Bristol City Council doesn't care about keeping people safe! This street light ha been out for 4 weeks and, in an area that makes it unsafe because of the number of elderly residents and young families, with the uneven pavements and the total darkness of that piece of road , how long will it be until someone either injures themselves, or is 'mugged'?

First reported on the 8th March!! It is now been almost totally dark on this part of Downend Road for more than a month and a half. Exactly how many people and how long does it take Bristol City Council to change a light bulb! No this is not a Joke, but Bristol City Council is!!!
