  • I hit this pot hole last night. It is huge and very deep. It caused my tyre to burst and a replacement has cost me £122.88. Another motorist who pulled up behind me had the same problem. It's very dangerous

  • I have been back to the location today to take these photos. I hit this at 6:50pm on 09/03/2023 I needed recovery, I eventually got towed home at 11pm.

I have a new tyre bill of £335.98 and will not know if any further damage until the car is inspected when the wheel is taken off on 11/03/2023

This needs sorting asap as it sounds like lots of people are hitting this!!!!!

  • I hit this pot hole this evening in the dark. After a few hundred meters by tyre burst and is completely flat. I had to leave it as needed to get my daughter home and will have to call breakdown tomorrow. Hoping it is just a flat tyre (which is new by the way) and no other damage.

  • This hole has been here for weeks. Drive past regularly at 1:30am going home from work. Hard to see with no street lighting especially when vision is less because of rain. It would be a very scary and dangerous if it damaged car and I was stranded at that time of night. Also cyclists wouldn’t stand a chance if they hit it.

  • Drove past this again today and saw someone else who had hit it and was changing his tyre. The cone has been moved away. No idea why-so have moved it back. How many more poor motorists with burst tyres will it take before this is fixed?

  • I hit this very large pot hole on thursday 16 March at 11:30pm. It is a very dark road with no street lighting. The pot hole burst my tyre and caused significant damage. I can see that this hazard has been repeatedly brought to the attention of the Council and nothing has been done.

  • I am trying to complain online and that’s not working. This needs to be fixed. So dangerous. The hole is deep and sharp. Burst my tyre in the dark and had to be towed next morning as O needed to get home to my children. Cost £106 for a new tyre which was actually only 6 weeks old. Will be putting my claim in writing. Please please fix this today!

  • This is a dangerously deep and enlarging pothole on a busy road. It needs repairing urgently. We live nearby and no sooner do we replace the warning cone than it is knocked away again by passing traffic. Serious risk to road users.
