Faded cycle lane and stop line

Reported via desktop in the Roads category anonymously at 09:38, Monday 13 March 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4306207.

The road markings on the northbound approach to the junction with Gloucester Road North and Wessex Avenue have faded to the point where they are now almost invisible. The cycle lane is a particular issue. This issue has been reported numerous times dating back to at least 2017 (1160061; 1423490; 1625739; 1774935; 3079396; 996291; 1423492; 2052989) with no action taken. The most recent was on 23-Feb-23 but was closed on 06-Mar-23 with no action as deemed "not urgent". Without the cycle lane clearly marked cars drive into it and I myself have had two collisions now with cars whilst riding in this cycle lane! Please can these marking be refreshed before a cyclist is injured or killed
