Blocked drain between 98-100 Hotwell Road, BS8 4UT

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 07:37, Tuesday 14 March 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4310407.

This road gully/ drain has been blocked for months now, when it rains, pedestrians and adjoining property get soaked. I can see this has been reported before but the issue has not been resolved and it is blocked solid. Further investigation needs to be carried out and for it to be cleared (not just sucking the water out).

  • This problem hasn’t been fixed. I’ve been reporting it for three years. Yesterday I reported it to be told it’s been fixed. Meanwhile my property is getting damaged every time there’s rain. Every morning I run the gauntlet to avoid getting soaked. Every morning walking commuters and school children do the same. When are you digging up the road to fix the obviously collapsed drain?
