Damaged (water?) utility cover, Avonvale Road

As the attached photo shows, this utility cover located on the pavement in front of Cafe Conscious on Avonvale Road has been damaged. Many pedestrians - including children - walk along here daily. My concern is eventually someone may get their foot stuck in this hole. Please replace as soon as possible. The utility cover next to this one is also showing signs of wear and may lead to a hole being created on that cover as well soon.

  • A job has been raised with our contractors to action this issue and appropriate repairs or maintenance will be undertaken as soon as they can.

  • Update - The damaged water utility cover has been replaced of. However, the repair was very shoddy and the paving bricks around the utility covers have now all sunk.
