Pavement restricted

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 17:46, Thursday 16 March 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4322235.

A Yuca plant is over hanging the pavement. It has very dangerous spiky leaves. You would not plant this in your garden if you have young children, the spikes are lethal. That there hasn't been an accident is only due to the fact that a wheely bin is generally blocking access to it.

The privet hedges on this short stretch of Gloucester Road have been reported previously, some take up 50% of the pavement, and some owners have taken action. Others have not, they need a final notice from the council.
