Pavement / Kerb Danger

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 18:18, Wednesday 22 March 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4347191.

Once again, we have issues with your sub-contractor’s shambolic workmanship.

Not only is the tarmac laid outside of my house a disgrace, we have recently had a pavement kerb repair carried out which is not only the most shambolic piece of workmanship I have ever seen but it is jutting out so badly (As you can see by the photo) that it punctured my wife’s car tyre yesterday which is going to cost a £100 to repair.

I am unsure who is responsible for selecting your sub-contracting partners but obviously they are not competent so I want someone to fix this pavement kerb issue urgently before any more damage is done to any more cars and I would like you to confirm what you are going to do to compensate my wife for the damage to her car.

Totally unacceptable and I expect an urgent response to the above
