Engine idling becoming a real nuisance, please can some signs be put up

Reported via mobile in the Road signage category anonymously at 08:05, Friday 24 March 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4352538.

Engine idling in this street is getting particularly bad. There is one household that has two cars and either sit in them or leave them with the engine on for at least half an hour a day. On top of that, with all the parents dropping kids off at the nearby school we get lots of parents leaving their engines on to when speaking with other parents etc. Not only is it a nuisance but it’s detrimental to the air quality and poses an increased health risk, especially near a school. Is it possible to get some signs installed warning people to not engine idle?
