Excessively Bright Light Invasively Shining Into My Property

Reported via mobile in the Street light category anonymously at 08:49, Saturday 25 March 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4356535.

I have noticed a very excessive & extreme light entering my home directly from the Street Light at the junction of Barnstable Rd & Broadbury Rd. The light shines directly onto & into my home. It is causing significant disturbance to my sleeping pattern & at times, the brightness shining into my home at night feels quite strange. I can only describe it as a type of electrical static & it feels quite hot. The lighting come energy that appears to be entering/shining upon my home would appear very different from ‘normal’ street lighting & I am wondering what kind of ‘lights are actually connected to this lamp. • Very concerned giving Boris Johnson’s speech in Sept 2019, highlighting how WE , the general public will be tracked & traced from lamp-post to lamp-post. What sort of technology is this, that is burning brightly into my home night in, night out. Please advise ASAP -
