Manhole cover overflowing
Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 10:07, Friday 31 March 2023
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4380546.
Yet again, this manhole is overflowing. It happens EVERY time there is heavy rain. Last reported in Jan 2023, but has been reported many times over previous years. However, every time Bristol City Council say there is no problem and no further action is taken. I can only assume that, if someone actually comes along to inspect, they come on a dry day when there is no water flowing. Then they can tick the "what a great job BCC have done to fix yet another problem box" and everything looks good on their KPI report that month! There is clearly an ongoing problem with the drainage here. Why can it not be investigated competently and resolved properly?
