No progress made on resolving busy junction roadworks after 2 months

Reported via desktop in the Inactive roadworks category anonymously at 14:20, Fri 14 April 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4439640.

Temporary traffic lights implemented on 16/02/23 with summary stating "Immediate urgent works, with multi way signals" but 2 months later and it appears nothing has been done. The resulting congestion in peak times is causing backlogs all the way to the university, gridlocks on nearby roads, buses to be delayed, and a large amount of pollution in a residential area. The neglect to make any visible progress on "Immediate urgent works" after such an extended period of time is embarrassing, especially with the recent implementation of the CAZ and upgraded bus timetables to help curb dangerous pollution levels.
