A trench has been cut out across the road and not filled in
Reported via desktop in the Roads category anonymously at 16:18, Friday 14 April 2023
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4440238.
The trench that has been cut out across the road is on Hotwell Road on the carriageway out of the city, just by and after the entrance to Rownham Mead Road.
It seems someone has created a trech across the cariageway to do work and not filled it in properly. I know the council sub contract suh work, so I hope they get a refund for this shoddy work, and tax payers don;t pay for this work of the tarmac to be replaced twice. Also please ensure they do a good smooth job, so it doesn't lift up annd create another pothole in the coming years. Also holes filled in that are not level with the road cause additional noise especially as this isabusy road with lorries and buses, and I live near here and so my neighbours and I don't want the extra noise as large vehicles ride over uneven filled in holes - which already exist on this road, so we don't need more poorly filled holes and more noise pollution..
