Inadequate 'No Cycling' signs on footpath around school

Reported via desktop in the Road signage category anonymously at 12:49, Saturday 15 April 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4442781.

Today we witnessed the end of a fight between a young (teenage) cyclist and an older man. The dispute arose we understand because the cyclist was using the public footpath that runs around two sides of West Town Academy towards Tesco. There is some signage to indicate 'no cycling' but it is minimal and poorly located. While proper signage may not stop cyclist using this lane it would be a start.
