Double yellow lines put down without choice

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4461526.

Resident of yew tree cottage is having difficulties with people dropping her shopping etc, the council put down yellow lines over her drive , and now people can't just drop something to her, she did approach workers when they were putting down as she wasn't happy, is there anyway they can be removed,
