Plethora of potholes causing traffic

Reported via mobile in the Roads category anonymously at 11:21, Sunday 7 May 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4525165.

A number of potholes have appeared and despite the myriad of complaints, no action appears to be taken. I live nearby and have to traverse what can only be construed as Bristol’s attempt at the seven Great Lakes (photo attached for reference). This cannot be doing mine or anyone else’s car any favours and would not be surprised if there is damage being caused. To add to the misery of this junction, this is on the ambulance route and often see these having to slow down potentially affecting patient safety. This needs to be rectified asap before serious damage occurs.

  • This road surface is appalling. Even slowing right down it is IMPOSSIBLE to avoid a pothole. Surely the ambulance service and Bus company have also complained. If the suspension on my car is damaged I will be sending the bill for repair to the council. How long does it take for an investigation ?
