Water Stop Valve

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category anonymously at 10:02, Friday 12 May 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4545467.

Hello...There is a lane by the side of No 33 Victoria Park, BS15. As you can see it is blocked with brambles. Unfortunately, the water stop valve for the street is located in this lane and Bristol Water cannot get access. This means that the houses cannot turn their water off as we do not have individual outside water valves as the houses are so old. It has only come to light now as I need to turn the water off for a while. But it is a health and safety issue if we cannot turn the water off in an emergency. And we would like the lane cleared so we have access to the stop valve. Bristol Water tells me that is where the valve is.
