Dangerous pothole which has burst my car tyre
Reported via mobile in the Roads category anonymously at 08:12, Sunday 21 May 2023
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4578212.
This pothole is large and has a sharp edge due to it being in a a section of road that has had previous work done. At the time I went to the recycling centre the pot hole was in the shadow of a large hedge and had I had been on a motor bike or in a small car, I suspect it could cause a serious accident.
It is also positioned just on right after an area where lorries often park overnight so you have to go onto that side of the road to overtake the parked vehicles so both incoming and outgoing traffic will have to negotiate the pothole.
Sadly I couldn’t avoid it and it burst my tyre.

This remains unfixed. Hit the pothole and blew out our tyre on 9th June - picture includes a wrench as it's all I had to hand for scale at the time.
This is a nasty one as it the edges are very rough, and it's difficult to avoid - especially when dealing with oncoming traffic.
