The construction works at cattle market road have for the last few weeks placed concrete blocks and 'cyclists dismount' signs on the cycle track along cattle market road. Note that the 'cyclists dismount' signs are of the blue 'information' type, rather than the red 'cyclists dismount and use footway' type which is permitted only when the carriageway is closed.
