Continual leak

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 10:49, Friday 26 May 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4599182.

I have previously reported this and had an email from BCC to say that i should contact the Bristol Water Services for this area - I did this and their reply has come back to say it is ground water, so a problem for the Council to fix: 'Many thanks for your email. A Bristol Water district inspector attended this site on 11 May 2023. He noted that there is water running through the ground / off the embankment from the allotment but it tested negative for chlorine and the supply into the allotment is some distance away. Therefore we believe this to be ground water. We would recommend speaking to your local council/authority about this.' This area is particularly dangerous in winter when it freezes over in to a sheet of ice. There is also a lot of overhanging shrubs, etc coming in to the pavement, making it very narrow - with all the work going on, I think it is only a matter of time until a school child steps in to oncoming traffic.
