Extremely SLIPPERY utility cover

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4606598.

On 29 March I slipped and fell on this metal utility cover, pulling down my 5 year old child too. I have had severe concussion, whiplash and vertigo as a result which has taken until mid May to ease. I have had to take time off work due to this injury. This needs URGENT attention before other people get hurt. It is outside 53 Park St, outside Ganesha shop.

For years MANY people have and continue to slip and have accidents on this cover. For years MANY people have reported this. Why is this negligence continuing BCC?

  • My self had slipped on this hurting the top of my leg and back on the 29/08/2023 as I was attempting to get a manager to put up some signs I witness another 2 people slip and hurt themselves, I can't believe the comments are so old on here and nothing has been done, please sort before someone else gets hurt.
