Car parked on single White line no pavement

Reported via desktop anonymously at 11:13, Wednesday 31 May 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4614427.

Cars are parking on the single white line on my street. This would be fine if a pavement was present. As no pavement is present it is considered illegal. The road is already very narrow. I've seen lorries have to reverse due to these cars being in the way, also if a fire engine needs to attend a site down here, it would not fit.

"Where the road has a solid, unbroken white line running along the side, parking is considered legal. In some cases, the single white line is there to indicate that there's no pavement – if this is the case then it's illegal to park there."
